BIOGRAPHY

He was born in Leningrad on May 17, 1954. After graduation in 1971, he entered the LITMO Department of Computer Science. He graduated with honors from the Institute in 1977, specializing in “electronic computing machines”. After graduation he worked at the Department of Computer Science from 1977 to 1984 as an engineer, senior engineer, junior researcher. In 1980-1983. he studied in the correspondence postgraduate study of the department VT. In 1983 he defended his thesis. From 1984 to 1988 he worked in the research laboratory for automation of ship instrumentation LITMO as a senior research fellow. In 1988-1989,  worked in the NGO “Oceanpribor” in the position of a senior researcher. Since 1990, he once again worked as a senior research fellow at the department of Higher Mathematics. In 1992, he was awarded the academic title of senior researcher. From 1992 to 1995 he was a doctoral student of the department of VT. In 1995 he defended his thesis for a doctor’s degree and since 1995 he has been working at the Department of Higher Education in the position of an associate professor, and since 1996, a professor. In 2000 he was awarded the academic title of professor. In 2007 he was awarded the badge “Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation”. By 2016 he published more than 120 scientific works, including a monograph, 12 inventions. I prepared 8 candidates of sciences and one doctor of sciences. He is a member of two dissertational councils at NIITMO – D.212.227.03 and D.212.227.06.
